superman came out in 1938 of may not sure of the day but he is a 74 year old superhero in the comic realm. go supes. im still trying to find the actual day the first issue came out of action comics cause i want to start a superman holiday day thing. would love help from fellow superman fans.

This picture captures everything important about Superman. Power, determination, strength, yet compassion. He is the most powerful being in the universe, yet he chooses to save that baby. Incredible.

Amazing. I could probably nitpick this piece if I wanted but I don't. This picture is beautiful, it captures everything that is appealing about Superman. His kindness, his seriousness and dedication to his to what he does. He's powerful but his display of power has something of a herculean mysticism to it. He cares about what he's doing, he cares about those who AREN'T invincible. And imagine the responsibility this man must have. I love it. I very much enjoy the coloring as well. Everything pops in just the right way.

Maybe that's not what you were going for but that's what I got from it. I love this. Faved, thanks for sharing it with us.
